The roots of the Montanaro family go back to the alchemists of the Middle Ages. Reason enough to give this grappa cuvee the nickname 'dell'Alchimista', since it is a selection of precious marcs whose combination leads to a special taste experience. Several Piedmontese grape varieties, including Nebbiolo, Barbera and Moscato result in a wide range of fruity and delicate aromas. The long aging in Slavonian oak barrels also enriches this grappa with toasted aromas. The result is an extremely pure, mild - almost sweet grappa of fresh and persistent aroma. - Gerardo
