Grappa dell'Alchimista is a tribute to the traditional knowledge of alchemists, from which the Montanaro family also draws its roots. This special cuvée combines selected Piedmontese marc varieties, including Nebbiolo, Barbera and Moscato, to create a balanced composition. The aromatic diversity ranges from fine, floral and fruity nuances to subtle hints of spice that awaken anticipation of the first sip on the nose.
The extended ageing period in Slavonian oak barrels gives the grappa an additional warm, slightly roasted note that perfectly rounds off its complex aroma. On the palate, it is mild, silky and almost sweet, with a fresh, long finish.
