Oppidum · Moscato di Terracina Secco DOC 2023

Oppidum (Latin for 'settlement') is made from the local grape variety Moscato di Terracina, the grapes come from 35-40 year old vines. The wine is dry, highly aromatic, and of varietal bouquet: complex notes of exotic fruits, dried rose petals and sage. The wine has an enormous complexity and a remarkable finish. Pfefferer · Goldmuskateller IGT 2023

The Pfefferer grape is considered one of the oldest grape varieties ever, it is in fact a variation of the Goldmuskateller grape. In South Tyrol and Trentino we find a particularly interesting species, the Pfefferer grape. It is relatively long and partially double-shouldered; the color of the berries is yellow when fully ripe. The bouquet of the grape is spicy, very aromatic, both characteristics that can be found in the wine.
