Sand · Goldmuskateller DOC 2024

  The “Sand” Goldmuskateller from the Schreckbichl Winery is a lively ambassador of South Tyrolean wine tradition, seducing the senses with its aromatic freshness and clarity. Its name refers to the sandy soils of the vineyards around Girlan, which give the wine a special minerality. After a short cold maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve the typical muscat aromas. The wine then matures for six months on the fine lees in stainless steel, which gives it additional complexity and structure.

In the glass, Sand Gold Muscatel is a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet unfolds intense aromas of nutmeg, ripe citrus fruits, and floral notes reminiscent of rose petals. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with crisp acidity and a subtle mineral aftertaste that reflects its origin.
