The Barolo Castellero is a noble and exclusive work that is only vinified in the best vintages from the first-class Cannubi and Sarmassa vineyards. These renowned vineyards provide grapes of exceptional quality, which are blended in this cuvée to create an impressive Barolo. In the glass, it is a deep ruby red with garnet reflections - an indication of its maturity and expressiveness. The bouquet is intense and multi-layered: aromas of ripe raspberries and blackcurrants are combined with subtle nuances of dried flowers, spices and a subtle floral note.
On the palate, the Barolo Castellero unfolds with fullness and structure. The tannins are present, powerful and yet harmoniously integrated, giving the wine an elegant texture. A precise balance between fruity freshness and spicy complexity gives it depth and character. The long finish is carried by dried herbs and a mineral note that authentically reflects its origin.
