The grapes for Barolo Castellero come from the Cannubi and Sarmassa sites, but are vinified into Barolo only in the best years. The color is a saturated ruby red with garnet inclusions. The bouquet announces raspberries and black currants, with shades of dried flowers and spices. - Gerardo [TS06/14]
