  One advantage of a co-op that cannot be denied is the consistently good price/performance ratio. Individual wineries and homegrown vintners have a harder time with pricing due to the high cost pressure, since on the one hand the costs have to be shouldered single-handedly and on the other hand marketing efforts cannot be bundled. Provided discipline in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, one can consistently purchase sparkling clean qualities for little money at a cooperative (winegrowers' cooperative). - Gerardo [TS09/16]
