Cantrina's flagship wine bears a meaningful name that does justice to this impressive red wine. Mainly made from Merlot, the grape variety reaches a natural full maturity in the hills of Lake Garda, which gives the wine a remarkably impressive profile. The deep dark, impenetrable garnet-purple color already indicates its intensity. The bouquet is powerful and enveloping, characterized by soft fruit notes, spicy nuances from the wood barrel ageing as well as typical varietal, herbaceous and balsamic aromas. A wine of austere elegance unfolds on the palate, whose fine tannin structure finds a harmonious balance between sweet and bitter on the finish.
