This wine is made exclusively from the Rebo grape variety, which was created a century ago by crossing Teroldego and Merlot. The Teroldego gives it its elegant aromas, while the Merlot gives it its impressive structure. In Zerdí, this synergy is reflected in a deep garnet-purple color. Ageing in wood gives the wine a subtle softness without masking its fruity character. The bouquet is complex, with intense spicy notes (pepper) and herbs (mugwort). On the palate, the wine is warm and full-bodied, with rich nuances and a fine, dense tannin structure. Ideal with dishes with strong and juicy aromas. - Gerardo [TS10/19]
