© www.lacrotta.it The red Chambave is a cuvèe in which, according to the rules of production, the red grape variety Petit Rouge, the most cultivated in Valle d'Aosta, accounts for a minimum of 70%; the remaining grape varieties are Gamay and Pinot Noir, as well as other red autochthonous grape varieties. Chambave has been produced since ancient times, even if its characteristics have changed a lot over time. This wine is a good representative of the typical red wines of Valle d'Aosta, which can also be drunk young and go well with regional cuisine. - Gerardo
