DUE · Veneto Bianco IGT (2023)

  The grapes for the Due Bianco originate from the diverse terroirs of Roncà, Valle D'Alpone, Verona, Sarego, and Vicenza. To ensure exceptional quality, the vines are trained using the Guyot trellis system with a high planting density of 6,000 vines per hectare. This dedication to excellence extends to the harvest, which is carried out exclusively by hand using small crates to protect the fruit's integrity until it reaches the winery.

Gianni Tessari has proven himself a visionary with this wine, fundamentally elevating the status of the indigenous Durello grape. He has taken a variety once considered somewhat rustic and rough and, through his expertise, refined it into a wine of true distinction. Under his guidance, Durello reveals a newfound finesse and excellence, transforming from a simple local variety into a sophisticated wine of character. - Gerardo [TS10/24]
