  The “K Weiß Cuvee” from the Kaltern winery embodies the modern interpretation of South Tyrolean white wine: a harmonious blend of select white grape varieties—typically Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon—comes from selected hillside vineyards characterized by calcareous, mineral-rich soils. Gentle grape processing and the exclusion of superfluous technology give the wine its clear character, which is clearly evident in the vinological signature. The cuvée, which is aged in stainless steel tanks, strives for a balance between fruitiness, lively freshness, and a fine structure—a combination that is clearly noticeable both in the glass and on the palate.

In the glass, the “K Weiß Cuvee” reveals a pale yellow color with delicate greenish reflections, a first indication of its lively freshness. The nose unfolds notes of ripe apricot, pineapple, and elderflower, accompanied by a subtle floral trace. The palate offers a juicy interplay of fruit with fine spice and a clear, alpine minerality - the finish remains elegant and restrained. Thanks to its versatility, this wine is an excellent accompaniment to grilled fish, Mediterranean vegetable variations, or even as a stylish aperitif. - Gerardo [TS10/25]
