Chardonnay DOC 2025

  The Chardonnay from the Kaltern Winery is a classic South Tyrolean white wine that masterfully embodies the elegance and freshness of this international grape variety. The grapes come from high-altitude vineyards around Lake Kaltern, where the cool climate and calcareous soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation. After harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Partial aging on the fine lees gives the wine additional complexity and structure.

In the glass, this Chardonnay presents itself in a bright yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet unfolds aromas of ripe apples, pears, and delicate citrus notes, accompanied by a fine minerality. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a balanced acidity and a harmonious finish.
