  The “Ceslar” Gewürztraminer from the Bolzano Winery is an outstanding example of the high level of craftsmanship in South Tyrolean viticulture. The grapes for this wine thrive on the steep porphyry slopes around Bolzano, at an altitude of around 400 to 600 meters above sea level. These special locations offer ideal conditions for Gewürztraminer, which develops its full potential here. The name “Ceslar” refers to the characteristic small stones in the soil, which give the wine a special minerality. After selective harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel to preserve their freshness and fruitiness. The wine is then aged on the fine lees, which gives it additional depth and complexity.

In the glass, the Ceslar Gewürztraminer presents itself in a bright straw yellow with golden reflections. The bouquet seduces with intense aromas of rose petals, lychee, grapefruit, and lime, accompanied by delicate spice notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, with well-integrated acidity and a fine minerality that gives it a pleasant freshness. This Gewürztraminer is a versatile accompaniment to Asian dishes, shellfish, and spicy cheeses. Its balanced structure and complex aromas make it a delight for discerning wine lovers.
