Kellerei Bozen, South Tyrol
The sauvignon grapes come from Mockhof in Leitach near Bolzano: Radiant, greenish-yellow color. Aroma of elderberry, tomato leaves and some flint. On the palate fruity, powerful and very aromatic. - Gerardo [TS12/23]
Gerardo's Notes: The Höfe line embodies the best possible interaction between grape variety, soil characteristics and microclimate. The special grapes come from selected steep sites with gravelly soils at 500 meters above sea level and produce expressive and complex wines. Sauvignon Mock combines vegetal and fruity-floral tones and combines racy acidity with full-bodied flavor. Ideal with herbs and fish cuisine such as salmon and trout, also with white and green asparagus.
