Lagrein has a delicate and pleasant aroma reminiscent of violet. The taste is full, velvety with good acid structure. It can be kept for a long time. It goes well with grilled meats, roasts, game and spicy cheeses. - Gerardo [TS06/22]
Gerardo's Notes: 'The Girlan Lagrein is rooted in sandy and deep soils, as found in the South Tyrolean lowlands. Thanks to the high temperature variations of the site, the aroma can develop well. The Lagrein is a late ripening grape variety, which is increasingly grown on trellises.
