  The “448 s.l.m.” Rosé from the Girlan Winery is an elegant rosé wine that reflects the characteristic features of the South Tyrolean terroir. The name “448 s.l.m.” refers to the geographical location of the historic vineyard of the Girlan Winery, which is situated at an altitude of 448 meters above sea level. This altitude favors a cool climate, which gives the grapes freshness and aroma. The wine is a cuvée of the three most important grape varieties in the region: Lagrein, Pinot Noir, and Schiava (Vernatsch). The soils are rich in minerals and originate from sediments from the Ice Age, which gives the wine additional complexity.

In the glass, the “448 s.l.m.” Rosé presents itself in a bright, luminous cherry red. The bouquet unfolds aromas of fresh strawberries and wild berries, accompanied by floral notes. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh, with a fine structure and balanced acidity. The finish is pleasant and harmonious.
