  The “Loam” Cabernet Merlot Riserva from the Tramin Winery is a masterpiece of South Tyrolean winemaking, combining Alpine origins and Mediterranean ripeness in a harmonious cuvée. The grapes—a balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot—come from the warm, calcareous soils around Ronchi, south of Tramin, where the vines thrive in a microclimatic protected area. These special conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly and completely, giving the wine its depth and complexity.

In the glass, Loam presents itself in a deep ruby red color and unfolds an intense bouquet of dark berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, underpinned by spicy notes of cedar wood, tobacco, and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with a fine tannin structure and a long, elegant finish.
