Today, Pinot Blanc is considered the most important white wine in South Tyrol: fresh apple and pear fruit with a fine play of scents and a racy acidity that is never off-putting. Not a loud, fashionable white wine, but a distinctive regional wine. It surprises with fine mineral traces that echo on the palate all the layers of rock from which the vine roots absorb nitrogen, minerals and trace elements. - Gerardo [TS07/17]
