  The “Amos” South Tyrol White from the Kurtatsch Winery impressively distills the terroir of the high-altitude Kurtatsch vineyards into a precise, multi-layered white wine cuvée. The grapes come from plots at an altitude of 600-900 m on porous dolomite and moraine soils, where large day-night fluctuations and steep south and east-facing slopes produce a lively freshness and mineral depth. In the cellar, small barriques are not used; instead, after fermentation, the wine undergoes a long period of fine lees aging in large wooden barrels—an aging process that creates complexity without sacrificing the clarity typical of the variety.

In the glass, Amos shines in a delicate straw yellow with golden reflections—a first impression of elegance and lightness. The nose opens with aromas of ripe stone fruits such as yellow peach and apricot, complemented by fine citrus notes and floral accents that speak of the high altitude and calcareous soils. On the palate, the wine is lively and harmoniously structured: it combines juicy fruit notes with a mineral backbone and ends with a clear, precise finish.
