This elegant and fresh pink spumante is made from Pinot Grigio grapes. The grapes are macerated at low temperatures until the must turns pink. It is an ideal accompaniment to appetizers as well as perfect with fish and shellfish. - Gerardo [TS06/23]

"Brightest old pink. The nose is light on red beets, wild strawberries and oranges. Palate with fine perlage and delicate fruit, tightens up nicely, savory and inviting. Nice, alternative bubbly." - Falstaff

Gerardo's Notes: The blue-skinned Pinot Grigio grapes also carry a small amount of red pigment. Before pressing, the grape skins rest together with the juice for 20 hours, which brings the subtle rosécoloration to the wine. An exceptional Spumante with lots of fruit, a touch of licorice and highly refined notes of spicy candy.
