Friulano Friuli Colli Orientali DOP 2022

  La Tunella's Friulano is a characterful white wine from Colli Orientali del Friuli, a region in northeastern Italy known for its high-quality white wines. The grapes thrive on the typical “Ponca” soils—a mixture of calcareous marl and sandstone—which give the wine its minerality and structure. The microclimate, protected by the Julian Alps and influenced by the warm breezes of the Adriatic Sea, creates ideal conditions for growing this grape variety.

In the glass, Friulano presents itself in a brilliant straw yellow color with elegant green reflections. The bouquet is harmonious and floral, with fruity notes of pear, acacia blossoms, and wildflowers, accompanied by the typical almond aroma characteristic of the grape variety. On the palate, the wine has a smooth, velvety texture, moderate acidity, and a dry, well-structured balance.
