© www.nalsmargreid.com The “Lyra” Gewürztraminer from Nals-Margreid is a characterful white wine made from 100% aromatic Gewürztraminer grapes. The grapes come from the best vineyards in the Bassa Atesina, at an altitude of 350 to 550 meters above sea level, with a south-easterly exposure. The calcareous clay-gravel soils at the foot of Monte Roen offer ideal conditions for this wine. After selective hand harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruitiness of the wine. The wine then matures on the fine lees for several months, which gives it additional complexity.
