Picolit is one of the most famous dessert wines of the Friuli Venezia Giulia wine region and a highly appreciated dessert wine of Italy. Still a true rarity, the wine thrives best on the hills of the Colli Orientali, as sufficient quality cannot be produced in the plains. It has a golden yellow color, becoming amber after years of aging. Its bouquet is of extraordinary elegance, reminiscent of honeycomb, full of honey from meadow flowers.
