Of dry and persistent taste is the Salento Negroamaro Anticaia, which is 100% pressed from the native grape variety Negroamaro. In the fragrance of sour cherries and black currants, and subtle balsamic notes. - Gerardo [TS02/23]

  Gerardo's Notes: This single-varietal Negroamaro comes from clayey mixed soils from vineyards around the village of San Donaci. In the aroma as in the taste, typical of the grape variety, it is powerful, concentrated and always richly fruity. Despite the presence of tannins, the wine is harmonious and mild, with good drinkability.

Typical of all 'Anticaia' wines is the traditional, Apulian style: fruity with hints of cooked plums and jam.
