Anticaia Salice Salentino Riserva DOP 2017

The Negroamaro as well as Malvasia Nera grapes for this Salice Salentino Riserva are traditionally raised according to the Alberello system. 'Anticaia' is then aged for 24 months in barrique barrels to develop its unique aroma: the delicate bouquet is reminiscent of fruit under alcohol with subtle notes of spicy herbs and toasted aromas. The palate is dry, soft and of present but mild tannins. A Salice as it used to be. - Gerardo
