The single-varietal Lagrein, whose grapes come from the renowned vineyards of the Bolzano-Gries area, impresses with its elegant finesse and unmistakable bouquet. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for several months in large oak barrels, which gives it additional complexity. Its deep garnet red color with violet reflections is just as characteristic as its inviting aroma of violets, cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. Powerful aromas of wild berries and cherries unfold on the palate, accompanied by a noticeable, striking acidity that makes the wine appear lively and balanced. - Gerardo [TS10/24]
