Harrer · Riesling DOC 2023

  The “Harrer” Riesling from the Schreckbichl Winery is a prime example of the elegance and freshness that this classic white wine has to offer. The grapes come from the exclusive “Harrer” single vineyard near Girlan, a place that is perfect for demanding Riesling vines. Here, at altitudes above 400 meters, the vines benefit from optimal climatic conditions that bring the grapes to full ripeness. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by six months of aging on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives the wine additional finesse.

In the glass, the “Harrer” Riesling displays a delicate green-yellow color and exudes an intense bouquet of ripe peaches and apricots, underpinned by fine mineral notes. On the palate, it is powerful and fresh, with a lively acidity that gives it remarkable length.
