St. Magdalener DOC 2025

  The “St. Magdalener” from the St. Michael-Eppan winery is a classic representative of South Tyrolean wine tradition and embodies the elegance of the indigenous Vernatsch grape variety. The grapes thrive on the steep slopes around the Bolzano district of St. Magdalena, an area with an ideal microclimate and well-aerated soils that provide the perfect foundation for this grape variety. After careful hand harvesting, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and fruitiness.

In the glass, St. Magdalener presents itself in a bright ruby red color and unfolds an intense bouquet of cherries, red berries, and a hint of violets, accompanied by fine spicy nuances. On the palate, it is harmonious with a fine structure, integrated tannins, and a long-lasting finish.
