  The “Sanct Valentin” Sauvignon from the St. Michael-Eppan winery is a prime example of the fine art of South Tyrolean viticulture. This Sauvignon Blanc thrives in the best locations around St. Michael and Eppan/Berg, on steep southeast-facing slopes between 450 and 650 meters above sea level. The calcareous gravel soils and the use of the Guyot training system create ideal conditions for the vines. After selective hand harvesting, vinification is carried out with the utmost precision to preserve the typical aromas and minerality of this grape variety.

In the glass, Sanct Valentin Sauvignon presents itself in a bright yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense and complex, with aromas of exotic fruits such as passion fruit and citrus, complemented by floral notes of elderflower and a hint of green pepper. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a fine minerality and a long, elegant finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is not only a highlight of the Sanct Valentin line, but also one of Italy's most renowned white wines.

The course for the “Sanct Valentin” Sauvignon was first set back in 1989. Since then, this wine has not only shaped the St. Michael-Eppan winery, but has also taken an important place in the history of South Tyrolean viticulture.
