The Primitivo Salento Punta Aquila impresses with its intense ruby red color and garnet reflections, which already show a powerful presence in the glass. A multi-layered bouquet unfolds on the nose, initially reminiscent of cherries and delicious blackberry jam, accompanied by fresh notes of rhubarb, herbs and a hint of black pepper - an exciting combination of fruit and spice.
On the palate, the wine is rich and mineral, with a harmonious balance of fruit and structure. The well-integrated tannins give the wine a pleasant depth and support the freshness and complexity, which continues through to the long, balanced finish.
