Tommasi | Veneto
The Tommasi family has been dedicated to viticulture since 1902, when Giacomo Battista Tommasi acquired a small vineyard in Valpolicella Classica. Over four generations, the family has developed their winery with a balance of tradition and innovation, making it one of the leading names in Italian viticulture. With the Tommasi Family Estates project, they are pursuing the ambitious goal of producing excellent wines in various regions of Italy. Since 1997, the fourth generation has expanded the estate to a total of 550 hectares, with carefully selected sites in the country's most prestigious wine-growing regions. The heart of the estate is the historic vineyard in Pedemonte, which covers 205 hectares, including some of the best vineyards in Valpolicella Classica and Verona. Here, fine wines are produced from indigenous grape varieties, vinified using traditional methods and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels to preserve their elegance and expressiveness.
The combination of terroir, craftsmanship and family values still characterizes the winery today. The vineyards cover 242 hectares in the best areas of Veneto: 115 hectares in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, 17 hectares in Valpolicella Valpantena and 65 hectares in other DOC areas around Verona. Tommasi also owns 45 hectares in the Lugana area on the southern shore of Lake Garda, where the Le Fornaci winery produces first-class white wines. With great respect for nature and the history of each individual plot, Tommasi has established itself as one of Italy's leading producers - a family business that honors its roots with consistency and passion while looking to the future. - Gerardo [TS03/25]

Tradition, passion and respect for the land have led the family to establish itself as one of the leading producers of excellent wines. Today, the estate comprises 242 hectares of vineyards: 115 hectares in the heart of Valpolicella Classica and 17 hectares in Valpolicella-Valpantena. In addition, there are 65 hectares in the other DOC areas of Verona and 45 hectares of the Le Fornaci vineyard in the Lugana area on the southern shore of Lake Garda." - Falstaff
