Chelucci Pappardelle are impressive, extra-wide ribbon noodles that are considered the epitome of festive Tuscan cuisine and impress with their majestic presence on the plate. Due to their generous surface area, they offer the perfect stage for strong and substantial companions: they harmonize excellently with hearty game ragouts, creamy wild mushroom pans, or slowly braised meat sauces, as they do not get lost in the flavor profile but rather carry the aromas. The rough surface and wide shape ensure that every noodle is coated in ample sauce, lending every dish a luxurious texture and a particularly satisfying, mouth-filling experience.
For production, the Chelucci manufactory uses exclusively the best Tuscan durum wheat semolina and pure spring water, processed according to proven artisanal principles. The use of bronze dies gives the dough a porous structure for optimal sauce adhesion, while patient, slow drying at low temperatures protects the valuable nutrients and the full aroma of the grain.
