Il Grappolo · Rosso IGP 2022

The 'Il Grappolo' is a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo produced according to the Appassimento method, with a few typical regional grape varieties added to round it off. The color is a rich ruby red with bright violet nuances. The bouquet is intense and reminiscent of plums, raspberries and cyclamen. Kurni Rosso Marche IGT 2019

According to the international press, the best wine of the Marche region. The Kurni consists of 100 percent of relatively late harvested Montepulciano. Part of the grapes are post-dried on straw mats, the same as for Amarone. The wine is aged for 22 months in barriques. - Gerardo [TS06/20]
