The 'Il Grappolo' is a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo produced according to the Appassimento method, with a few typical regional grape varieties added to round it off. The color is a rich ruby red with bright violet nuances. The bouquet is intense and reminiscent of plums, raspberries and cyclamen. "The Castel del Monte Il Falcone Riserva does a great job of highlighting the Nero di Troia element of this blend. The wine is composed of 70% Nero di Troia and 30% Montepulciano, but with this balanced vintage we get a better view of this special native grape of Puglia. The bouquet boasts a wild side with bramble, forest berry and pressed violets. Other aromatic components include toasted nut, licorice and tar. Kurni · Rosso Marche IGT 2019

According to the international press, the best wine of the Marche region. The Kurni consists of 100 percent of relatively late harvested Montepulciano. Part of the grapes are post-dried on straw mats, the same as for Amarone. The wine is aged for 22 months in barriques. - Gerardo [TS06/20]
