Gerardo's Notes: The name of this wine comes from Roman times: Quinta Regio refers to the fifth region of the Roman Empire. The red flagship of Simone Capecci is made from a special selection of Montepulciano grapes that come from old vines and mature for a long time in wooden barrels. This results in a great red wine of the brand, characterized by power and elegance, a wine with impressive organoleptic characteristics and great shelf life.
The color is a very intense, almost impenetrable ruby red. On the nose, the aromas are reminiscent of cherry, black berries and plum, with hints of licorice. On the palate, Quinta Regio is full-bodied, enveloping and pronounced.
