Pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo with a brilliant ruby red color. Intense and persistent on the nose, with hints of fully ripe cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants. Dry, spicy, soft and beautifully tannic on the palate. - Gerardo [TS01/21]

Gerardo's Notes: After temperature-controlled fermentation, the classic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo matures for a few months in large oak barrels. However, this in no way masks its red berry fruit; the Slavonian oak only adds a little complexity in the form of spicy notes. The wine is beautifully balanced and has a great drinking flow.
