Sauvignon DOC 2022

  The Alois Lageder Sauvignon impressively reflects the characteristic signature of South Tyrolean viticulture and the winery's long-standing commitment. The grapes for this single-varietal Sauvignon Blanc come from limestone- and gravel-rich sites where alpine freshness meets Mediterranean warmth. The vinological approach is based on precise selection, gentle pressing, and stainless steel fermentation, which preserves the varietal fruit and clear structure. At the same time, the biodynamic cultivation concept of the Alois Lageder winery — which focuses on naturalness and terroir—is noticeable in every sip.

In the glass, the wine displays a light straw to yellow color with delicate greenish reflections, a visual indication of its lively freshness. The bouquet unfolds delicate aromas of gooseberry, green apple, and citrus, accompanied by floral components and an unobtrusive minerality. On the palate, this fruitiness combines with clear precision and light elegance - not exalted, but stylishly restrained. The texture is fine and balanced, the fruit notes remain present, while the minerality gives the wine depth and origin.
