Chardonnay DOC 2024 (Bio)

  Alois Lageder's Chardonnay from South Tyrol is a refreshingly clear white wine whose elegance reflects the limestone and gravel soils of the winery in Margreid. The grapes are carefully selected, gently processed, and fermented mainly in stainless steel to optimally preserve the fresh fruitiness of the variety. The result is a style that appears purist, but reveals a surprising depth thanks to its origin and soil characteristics. Its color is a brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, heralding its crystal clarity and freshness.

On the nose, the Chardonnay unfolds a delicate bouquet with notes of peach, melon, and citrus fruits, complemented by a floral delicacy and a gentle mineral undertone. On the palate, it impresses with a balanced texture: juicy fruit meets mineral tension - not overloaded by wood, but carried by clarity and origin.
