  Marchesi Antinori's “Solaia” Toscana is a masterpiece of Tuscan winemaking that embodies the essence of the Bolgheri terroir. The Solaia vineyard, with its southwestern exposure and altitudes between 350 and 400 meters, benefits from calcareous soils with Alberese rock and Galestro. These conditions provide ideal conditions for the Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc grape varieties that thrive here. Since its first production in 1978, Solaia has embodied the Antinori family's philosophy of combining tradition with innovation to create a wine of exceptional quality.

In the glass, Solaia presents itself in an intense ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet unfolds aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blackberries, and cherries, accompanied by spicy notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with velvety tannins and a lively freshness that gives it remarkable persistence. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant fruitiness and subtle spice that reflects its Bolgheri terroir origins.
