  Argiolas' red wine “Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso” is considered an icon of the Sardinian wine world and is a passionate homage to native grape varieties and the island's terroir. It is produced from a blend of indigenous grapes such as Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale, and Malvasia Nera, grown on limestone and gravelly soil in the hills near Selegas, with strong Mediterranean sunshine and sea breezes. In the cellar, gentle maceration with delestage is followed by aging in French barriques; this wood-based maturation gives the wine depth, structure, and elegant expressiveness.

In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color with garnet hues—a visual promise of its concentration and maturity. The nose reveals aromas of dark cherries, ripe plums, cassis, and Mediterranean herbs, interwoven with spicy notes of cinnamon, cloves, and tobacco, which reflect the long aging in wood and the terroir.
