The Barbaresco Autinbej impressively embodies the essence of Nebbiolo and combines the grapes from the best, sun-drenched vineyards of the Ca' del Baio family. The name “Autinbej” - Piedmontese for “beautiful vineyards” - goes back to grandfather Ernesto and stands for the deep connection with the land and the family tradition. In the glass, the wine has a deep garnet red color with old rose reflections on the rim. The bouquet is intense and multi-faceted, characterized by fruity aromas such as raspberry and jam, floral notes of violets and a subtle spiciness with hints of cocoa and ethereal nuances.
On the palate, the Autinbej impresses with warmth, depth and a harmonious structure. The elegant tannins are well integrated and give the wine length and balance. The lingering finish echoes the fruity impressions of the bouquet and lends the wine a classic, timeless elegance.
