The Barbaresco Riserva Asili is the flagship of Ca' del Baio and combines everything that makes the legendary Asili vineyard so special. Only vinified in outstanding vintages, this wine comes from the estate's oldest vines and is given its extraordinary depth and complexity through extended ageing. It impresses in the glass with its brilliant garnet red color and orange reflections. The bouquet is intense and multi-layered: aromas of sour cherries, floral notes of violets and spicy hints of black pepper, liquorice and tar merge to create a multi-layered olfactory experience.
On the palate, the Riserva is dry, warm and soft, with a velvety texture and a long, elegant finish. It combines power and finesse and impressively reflects the character of the Asili crus. The historic label is reminiscent of grandfather Ernesto and honors the roots of the estate - a Barbaresco with great personality that not only carries the terroir, but also the family tradition of Ca' del Baio.
