Gerardo's Notes: Der hügelige Nord-Osten Sardiniens bietet ideale Voraussetzungen für den Anbau der Vermentino Traube, denn die Temperaturen im Sommer sind nicht ganz so heiß wie im Süden & der Grantitanteil im Boden begünstigt die Mineralität des gleichnamigen Weines. Dieses Potenzial wurde bereits von den Spaniern im späten Mittelalter erkannt, welche die Vermentino-Traube auf der Insel einführten.
