Worthy red wine cuvee from the four native grape varieties Cannonau, Pascale, Malaga and Monica. Of intense ruby color in the glass. The aroma is appealing of ripe berries. The palate is dry and full-bodied, with present tannins and some fruit acidity. - Gerardo [TS02/21]
Gerardo's Notes: 'The eventful settlement history of Sardinia also influences the viticulture of this region. In Sardinia you can find so many ancient, partly quite unknown, autochthonous grape varieties as in hardly any other region. An extremely successful assemblage of some of these grape varieties represents the 'Abbaia'.
