  The Galana Rosso dei Colli di Limbara from Cantina del Vermentino is an impressive red wine cuvée that embodies the granite-rich terroir of the Colli di Limbara in Sardinia in a powerful yet elegant form. Its complex blend of grape varieties—including international classics such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, as well as Sardinian specialties such as Carignano and Cagnulari—allows the wine to combine structure and depth with regional identity. The grapes grow at altitudes of around 300 to 450 meters, on weathered granite soil, where the sea breeze and pronounced day-night fluctuations predestine their origin. After hand harvesting, red maceration takes place, followed by prolonged aging in wood, which gives the wine strength and maturity.

In the glass, Galana displays a deep ruby color with garnet red glints—an indication of its concentration and maturity. The nose reveals intense aromas of wild and sour cherries, dark chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of oriental spices, accompanied by a minerality that unmistakably comes from the granite-rich soil. On the palate, the wine impresses with its full-bodied texture, harmoniously integrated fruit, and elegant tannins - the finish lingers long with notes of dark berries, fine spice, and roasted aromas.
