Ischia Bianco DOC 2022

  The Ischia Bianco from Casa d'Ambra in Ischia shines in the glass with a light straw yellow color, revealing its sunny island origins with golden reflections. Its bouquet is wonderfully clear and fresh: citrus notes combine with white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs, while a slight mineral nuance immediately recalls the volcanic terroir of the island. The cuvée from the indigenous Biancolella and Forastera grape varieties gives the wine a special aromatic depth and a certain lightness that impressively underlines the character of a true island wine.

On the palate, Ischia Bianco surprises with a pleasant dryness and yet a beautiful body; fruity nuances of yellow apple, pear, and a hint of apricot combine with a fine acidity and a subtle sea salt definition that makes the influence of the sea breeze and volcanic soils tangible. The finish reveals a subtle minerality and surprising freshness, which impressively reflects the wine's origin from the terraced slopes of Ischia.
