The basis for Quatre Vignobles is a well-composed cuvee of Petit Rouge, Gamay and Pinot Noir. This wine has a unique selling point in that the vines are all from well-fed single vineyard sites, which are then blended and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Ruby red in color, with intense aromas of violets, raspberries, vanilla and leather. Dry on the palate, concentrated with discreetly sweet tannins. - Gerardo

Gerardo's Notes: 'Just like the simple Chambave, the Quatre Vignobles is a cuvèe in which, according to the rules of production, Petit Rouge, the red grape variety most cultivated in Valle d'Aosta, has a share of at least 70%; the other grape varieties are Gamay, Pinot Noir, Fumin and other autochthonous varieties. The peculiarity of this wine is that the grapes come from four vineyards with unique characteristics, where the agrotechnical rules have been applied for the production of an elegant and long-lasting wine.
