The Etna Bianco Alta Mora from Cusumano reveals the freshness and minerality of the volcanic region with clear brilliance. The Carricante grapes, from the privileged Contrada Praino vineyards near Milo and the Contrade Verzella, Pietramarina and Arrigo near Castiglione di Sicilia, give the wine a deep yellow color in the glass. The nose is dominated by lively notes of Granny Smith apple, red grapefruit and a hint of lemon blossom, which bring a fragrant lightness. On the palate, it impresses with a crisp freshness that is supported by a pronounced minerality and culminates in a long-lasting finish that reflects the clear signature of the Etna terroir. - Gerardo [TS10/23]

Gerardo's Notes: Die Carricante-Trauben stammen aus der Contrada Praino bei Milo mit 100%-iger Südausrichtung sowie den Contrade Verzella, Pietramarina und Arrigo bei Casti- glione di Sicilia in der Nähe der Kellerei gelegen. Die Höhe der Pflanzungen schwankt zwischen 500 und 600 Höhenmetern, insgesamt sind es acht Hektar. Alle Weinberge sind in Dichtbepflanzung bestockt. Der Etna Bianco wird nach der Kelterung nur im Edelstahltank ausgebaut, davon vier Monate auf der Feinhefe mit anschließender Flaschenreifung. Ein super Begleiter von Meeresfrüchten sowie Sushi und Sashimi.
