  The Angimbé Terre Siciliane wine from the Cusumano winery in Sicily is an artful white wine cuvée made from 70% of the indigenous Insolia variety and 30% Chardonnay, cultivated at the Tenuta Ficuzza estate at an altitude of around 700 meters above sea level. Here, where the mountain air and barren soils give the vines a high degree of terroir, the grapes grow facing southeast and east - harvested during the first ten days of September each year. The processing involves a short cold maceration, gentle pressing, cold decanting, and careful fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by a period of aging on the fine lees, which clearly manifests the wine's freshness, origin, and elegance.

In the glass, Angimbé appears light straw yellow with golden reflections - a visual harbinger of its finesse. On the nose, it unfolds a beguiling combination of white flowers, ripe pear, yellow plum, and exotic notes such as pineapple and melon, accompanied by a fine herbal and mineral spice that reflects the mountainous terroir. On the palate, it impresses with juicy fruit, a smooth texture, and a subtle salty minerality in the finish—a wine of clear origin and stylish appearance, perfect as an accompaniment to antipasti, seafood dishes, or as an elegant soloist in the glass. - Gerardo [TS10/26]
