  Jermann's “Capo Martino” takes its name from the hill of the same name (Italian: Capo Martino) in the heart of Collio / Colli Orientali, which Silvio Jermann acquired in 1991. Between 1996 and 2003, this 7.5-hectare vineyard underwent extensive renovation, remaining faithful to traditional indigenous grape varieties. The wine serves as a visual and sensory monument to those agricultural roots: a cuvée that is the voice of a place where history remains alive.

The composition of “Capo Martino” makes it particularly noteworthy: Friulano is the main component, accompanied by Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and Picolit—a blend that reveals diversity and depth. The grapes are harvested together and vinified traditionally, including short skin maceration and aging in oak barrels for about ten months. Finally, the wine matures for a period in the bottle before being released.
