Sauvignon DOC 2025

  The white wine “Kellerei Kaltern Sauvignon” builds a stylistic bridge between the characterful Sauvignon grape variety and the alpine terroir of South Tyrol. Made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, the grapes come from optimally located hillside vineyards with mineral-rich soils - a composition that allows for a harmonious balance of freshness and depth. The winemaker's signature is evident in the gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which allows the typical aromas to come to the fore, while storage on the fine lees provides an additional texture and structure profile.

In the glass, the wine delights with a light straw yellow color that already signals its lively and fresh nature. The nose opens with an invigorating combination of elderflower, gooseberry, and exotic fruit notes, underpinned by a subtle salty mineral note. On the palate, this Sauvignon presents juicy fruit, a delicate spiciness, and a subtle salty nuance that gives the wine substance.
